The Advocate API is built on the principles of REST architecture. It features a structured design with resource-oriented URLs, support for form-encoded request bodies, JSON-encoded responses, and adheres to industry-standard HTTP response codes, authentication methods, and HTTP verbs. In order to enhance performance and ensure a reliable experience, Advocate has implemented rate limits and allocation policies for various API endpoints. Advocate currently supports a sandbox environment. The mode, whether live or sandbox, is determined by the API key you use to authenticate your requests. To get your API keys, please reach out to Advocate directly.
